Interview Design Challenge

Design Collective Designs

Guerilla Marketing Brief

Here are some of the collaterals we plan to include in our campaign: flyers, stickers, pressure wash stencils, and large posters, … We are open to more ideas and creative ways to show up!

Sticker Design Idea

  • A sticker collection inspired by the conversation bubbles

  • Play with the two E’s in “Peers”, as if two persons are having a conversation

  • Creating visual elements out of basic Flourish Labs geometric shapes - consistent with branding style

  • Simple and harmonious color gradients - relaxing, meditative

  • Repetition and growth of the visual elements - the development of conversation lets people

    • elaborate on their mental world (e.g. sea, giant tree)

    • and help to figure out the

      • goals (e.g. sailing boat, bird nest),

      • challenges (e.g. shark fin, snake),

      • and hopes (flying fish & bubble, ladders & fireflies)

Pressure Wash Stencil Design Idea

  • An interactive, public installation of encountering oneself and peers - featuring finding unexpected joy in daily life

  • Play of word in saying “cheers/peers!” to each other

  • Creative icons built from the basic geometric elements of the Flourish Labs branding (e.g. 1/4 circle, square, circle…)

  • Patterns inspired by topics including connection & communication, diverse self-identity, emotional ups & downs, pathfinding, emotional support, resilience & self-recovery

  • A game of having different interpretations by seeing the same pattern from 2 different angles

    • A reference of how the peer supporter can help people walk out of the dilemma with their different perspective of looking at similar experience

    • Examples from the design:

      • 1. Rainy cloud / blooming flower

      • 2. Eye with tear/sunrise

      • 3. Broken heart/butterfly
